Mr. Bergen is a partner with the law firm of Griggs Bergen LLP, an intellectual property law firm with offices in Dallas, Texas and Springfield, Missouri. He is a registered patent attorney through the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and licensed to practice law in Texas and Missouri. He is also admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas.
He received his Juris Doctorate from Baylor University School of Law in Waco, Texas, in 1992 and earned a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Oklahoma in Norman in 1988. His law practice concentrates in the areas of patents, trademarks, copyrights, and matters related to intellectual property.
His technical and engineering background provide a strong basis for representing those involved with a wide variety of technologies.
